We are currently seeking a dedicated Civil Project Manager to join our team who will contribute to overall success of the organization by overseeing our mid-rise and high-rise projects. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve and create long and lasting relationships.

What You Will Do:
• Read all Geo reports prior to start of any projects and inform all stakeholders of potential risk
• Tender sewer, water, storm, paving, excavation contractors for each site
• Locate dump sites for excess materials
• Shop all aggregate suppliers for each market
• Assist in site set up layout and review
• Coordinate civil engineers minimizing import/export, storm barrels etc.
• Establish benchmarks on all sites
• Collect final import/export calculations and develop action plans with sites to minimize handling
• Work in conjunction with sites to identify footing, pile, pile cap elevations
• Establish final grading contractors for each site
• Collect civil approach permits for each site
• Help design and price out most cost effective retaining walls
• Collect final grade and landscape deposits in each market
You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering or 5+ year’s experience
• Degree or Diploma in Project Management preferred
• Must possess an expert understanding of current civil principles
• 3 or more years of experience in a project manager or similar role
• Proficient in MS Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to relay information in a concise and effective manner
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a deadline driven work environment with changing priorities
• Experience reading building plans and specifications and interpret / apply applicable codes and by-laws
• Site/Land development design experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
