Venue Operations Sr. Director, LA28


The Coca-Cola Company is seeking an exceptional professional to serve as the Sr. Director for Venue Operations overseeing VIK and Budget for the 2028 Olympics and Paralympics. As part of the LA28 team, this role will focus on planning, execution, and control of the Value in Kind (VIK) budget and execution, ensuring our commitment to delivering the highest quality of service and product availability.


The ideal candidate is driven, organized, and knowledgeable about project management while being adept at building and managing key relationships. The successful candidate should have experience developing and executing plans through collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders.


What You’ll Do For Us


  • Lead the relationship with the IOC team regarding the Value in Kind (VIK) budget and execution during the 2028 Games.
  • Plan and control the VIK budget in collaboration with the Global EPICS team to ensure optimal resource usage.
  • Define and implement the national VIK price strategy by bottler and city.
  • Determine the VIK product portfolio by stakeholder and venue.
  • Ensure our obligations to IOC are met in terms of providing appropriate Value in Kind products at offices, venues, training sites, hotels, and volunteer locations, all served to the highest quality.
  • Support the Global EPICS team with routines related to the IOC VIK team.
  • Establish a detailed VIK operation model by city and venue.
  • Set up local controls and tracking by city.

Qualifications & Requirements


The successful candidate should have experience with development and execution of global event plans and proven experience working with TCCC Brands and sports assets.


  • Strong knowledge and experience in TCCC business and operations.
  • 5+ years of project management especially in large-scale, multifaceted projects.
  • Proven experience in operating sports venues focusing on the management of concessionaires, logistics, merchandising, and cooling equipment.
  • Experience managing and activating away from home outlets/customers, such as hotels and caterers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of operational and technical aspects of The Coca-Cola Company and Bottlers’ business in local markets
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to coordinate inputs, requirements, and demands of numerous constituencies and stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management skills: ability to multi-task and be detail oriented while meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Highly coachable, positive attitude, solutions oriented, solid work ethic and tenacious follow through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels of organizations, internally and externally, and spanning multiple markets.
  • Must possess excellent relationship and collaboration building skills, as well as strategic leadership abilities, to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen, including demonstrated ability to manage budgets and coordinate financial responsibilities.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel required.

Pay Range:$162,000 - $188,000


Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
