As a Control Room Operator, your duties/responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:

Monitor, acknowledge and initiate response to national access control and CCTV alarms and liaison
with duty managers to provide emergency support for multiple office locations
Read, respond and manage correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage the provisioning of badges in administration system.
Coordinate badge activations and terminations in line with notifications from Human Resources.
Provide direction to personnel and contractors as needed.
Complete online occurrence and incident reports.
Respond to all calls to the Staff Emergency Line.
Monitor social media and news outlets to initiate front line notifications for any in-country disasters,
threats, and/or terrorist activities
Professionally represent the Security Team and client while regularly interacting with contractors,
visitors, customers and senior management

Minimum of one year of experience in physical security and/or graduate of a Law & Security/Police Foundations program or other related discipline
Minimum one year experience working in a control room environment or dispatch position
Valid Security Guard License and First Aid and CPR certificate
Solid understanding of access and security related principles and technology
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and perform in potentially stressful situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience with computers, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs (i.e. Word, Excel)
Knowledge of CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, & Alarm Monitoring

Additional Assets:
Bi-Lingual (French & English).
