Job Description


Position Summary:


As an Advisor, Talent Management, you will be responsible for designing and delivering development experiences that accelerate the advancement of the top talent in the organization. Focusing on improving business results through providing an unmatched colleague experience, you will drive the continued evolution of our best in class development portfolio.


You will lead the go-forward strategy of improving and evolving our talent development strategy. You will play a lead role in the delivery and design of our leadership development experiences to ensure we are developing leaders who deliver exceptional business results and demonstrate outstanding leadership capabilities and alignment to our values.


You will focus on planning, designing and delivering development journeys that incorporate rotational experiences, personalized leadership development, and exposure to key leaders in the organization. You will interact with various senior-level partners enterprise-wide; influencing and leading change, and ensuring strategic alignment of business insight and leadership skills in all programs will be paramount to his/her success.


This position will be remote, with travel requirements.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Consult on and support Talent Development initiatives, in service to the Enterprise.
  • Manage the rotational development journey for approximately 10 PBM LDP program participants.
  • Manage a sponsorship program for mid-level + leaders.
  • Manage seminar series for mid-level + leaders .
  • Design and deliver development experiences to be consistent with our culture, talent strategy and business needs.
  • Conduct best practice research and create innovative experiences that shift thinking, change behaviors, and expand enterprise perspective/results of participants.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, other Talent Management experts and business leaders alike to help support and drive the intended career mobility and development goals of individual leaders.
  • Consult on leadership development sessions delivered via large corporate events.
  • Collaborate with Leaders and HR Business Partners to deliver meaningful rotational assignments that develop broad and deep functional knowledge while honing leadership capability.
  • Advocate for key talent by serving as a “talent broker” to the organization.
  • Demonstrate expert facilitation skills, in person and virtually.

Required Qualifications


  • 5+ years related work experience.
  • 2+ years talent development or human resources experience
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

COVID Requirements

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in leading others and managing performance
  • Certification in MBTI, EQi, DISC, Learning Agility, 360 Leadership Assessments, etc.
  • Ability to communicate, influence and collaborate with senior leaders to set direction and deliver impactful solutions for developing a results-driven, engaged, and capable colleague culture.
  • Experience interpreting internal business complexities and stays current on external business/industry dynamics to recommend solutions and best practices that make sense for our businesses and deliver the most value for our enterprise.
  • Ability to design, plan and expertly facilitate development experiences for all levels of CVS Health colleagues, emerging through executive.
  • Ability to consult on development plans for all levels of CVS Health colleagues, emerging through executive.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships quickly.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects at one time and manage competing priorities.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and leadership acumen and skills; able to work independently with minimal direction as needed.
  • Superb written, presentation and oral communication skills.
  • Highest levels of accountability, integrity, and collaboration.

Education

  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Masters in Organizational Development, Human Resources or similar strongly preferred.
