Diversity and Inclusion Program Director
The Program Director manages the office administration for the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, including budgeting and staffing; assists the office in performing business process improvement and organizational initiatives; develops, implements, and evaluates departmental objectives and activities to support business decision-making and ensures smooth and efficient operations. Manages large, complex short and long-term projects as assigned by the Vice President/Chief Diversity Officer (VP/CDO). Works with the VP/CDO and Director to manage all incoming and outgoing projects, programs, and client relations, including marketing communications and partnerships. Applies strategic approach to ensure efficiency and cross-collaboration in all projects.
- Identifies, captures, and achieves operational and strategic improvement opportunities.
- Advances organizational performance by utilizing a systems approach to analyzing processes, building relationships, and facilitating change.
- Supports of facilitates organizational efforts for business process improvement, change management, system redesign and integration, and solutions development
- Provides staff support in planning and organizing cross-functional unit and cross-entity activities and committees.
Education:
Qualifications:
- 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience within a program/project management, diversity, and inclusion, data, education, or human resources function that must include:
- Minimum four (4) years experience implementing large, complex projects
- Minimum three (3) years experience working on project(s) involving project life cycle methodologies
- Minimum three (3) years experience managing project budgets
- Minimum of 2 years experience managing large programs with multiple project work streams
- Minimum four (4) years experience leading project teams.
- Hospital or Healthcare experience preferred
- Consultant or operations experience desired
