Summary
As a first point of access for Lee Memorial Health System this position acts as a lead resource for our Emergency Department Financial Counselors. Working collaboratively with care givers and performing bed side registrations these individuals coordinate assignments ensure completion and prioritization. These individuals are also responsible for screening for possible assistance through government and/or financial assistance programs. This job requires the ability to be multi-task oriented while using critical thinking skills to appropriately handle complexity and stress while displaying excellent customer service at all times. These team members also assist with departmental training and act as lead resource for staff in the absence of management.
