The Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Specialist will partner with system leaders to implement and monitor programs that promote equity, inclusion and belonging, and to enhance the team member, patient, and community experience. Responsible for delivering training and initiatives to create and foster an open and inclusive environment. Partnership with Human Resources, Quality & Safety, Clinical Teams, Strategy & Innovation, Legal, and Government Relations to support employees, patients and the community at large


  • Collaborates with internal partners to foster a culture of belonging and inclusion.
  • Respond to requests for assistance and information from internal and external partners to support work related to equity, inclusion and belonging
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate information through a variety of mechanisms such as issue briefs, stories, newsletters, webinars and reports
  • Conducts and coordinates equity, inclusion and belonging education and awareness opportunities in both classroom and virtual formats to enhance the team member, patient, and community experience

Experience Requiremet

  • Other RequirementsKnowledge and understanding of multicultural health, health disparities/health equity, vulnerable and underserved populations, experience in program management, and community engagement/outreach experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills and ability to interface effectively with all levels of the agency and client
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and team members
  • Ability to use O365 platforms
  • Experience with federal health agencies, such as the Office of Minority Health, National Institutes of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, among others
  • Knowledge of and experience collaborating with organizations working in equity, and inclusion matters as they pertain to public health
  • Advanced experience with underserved populations, experience-providing programs and outreach that advance values of, equity, inclusion, and cultural competency within the delivery of public health
