Digital Experience Officer (DXO)
Reporting to the Senior Director of Annual Giving, the Digital Experience Officer (DXO) will manage a large portfolio of donors with the goal of building lasting relationships and creating meaningful experiences through engaging communications and one-on-one interactions. The DXO will:
- Connect donors to the University and its schools, colleges, departments, and divisions
- Solicit gifts primarily between $250 and $24,999 and develop personalized strategies for increasing year-over-year retention and upgrade of donors while also looking for referrals to build a pipeline for major gift referrals.
- Partner with colleagues across the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) to help align donors’ philanthropic interests with various priorities across campus, create engagement opportunities, and communicate the impact of philanthropy with donors
- Conduct virtual meetings
- Articulate the mission and goals of the University of Georgia while demonstrating enthusiasm and passion

- Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of professional experience related to fundraising, nonprofit management, higher education, sales, marketing, development, business administration, project management, or relationship management. Graduate-level degree may be substituted for experience.
- Knowledge of the University of Georgia is desired.

About the Office of Annual GivingThe Office of Annual Giving is responsible for the ongoing regular solicitation of alumni and friends for support of the university’s mission. The office observes an annual fiscal year cycle to engage donors for opportunities to renew and enhance their support of the University, its Schools, Colleges, and Units. Special Giving initiatives are for unique audiences within the university’s constituency including but not limited to leadership annual gifts, faculty and staff giving, parent giving, recurring gifts, anniversary giving, matching gifts, crowdfunding, and consecutive year giving.
