Summary


The College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) is seeking a Director of Employer Engagement, reporting directly to the Managing Director of the Opportunity Hub, Career Exploration and Engagement. The LSA Opportunity Hub supports liberal arts and sciences students as they develop their professional identities and aspirations. It provides students with career coaching and exploration, access to internships, internship funding, and connections to jobs, employers, and alums. Students can connect their classroom learning to purposeful work and meaningful lives. The Director of Employer Engagement focuses on three primary areas of responsibility: (1)Employer engagement strategy for a liberal arts college; (2) Leadership for the employer engagement area; and (3) Operational Strategy. This work includes overseeing employer recruiting and engagement initiatives for full-time, part-time and internship recruiting efforts, developing internship and experiential learning experiences and aiding in the administration of the LSA Internship Scholarship for the Opportunity Hub.


LSA is the largest and one of the oldest of the university's 19 schools and colleges, with a long tradition of distinction in teaching and research across the liberal arts. The college offers more than 100 degree programs in over 75 academic departments and programs.
