REA is incorporated as an employee-owned company. Our employees have the opportunity to join the cooperative as Member-Owners and share in the responsibilities and rewards of ownership, including patronage accounts and the ability to run for a seat on the board of directors. The company has a fairly traditional management structure, but operates as much as possible with transparency and with input from employees and members. REA operates remotely from home offices across the United States. Administrative and technology support, computers, and home office stipends are provided to support staff in their work.
