The Division of Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) is hiring a Strategic Communications and Marketing Director to lead the development of a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy for the division’s internal and external audiences.
FP&M is seeking candidates who possess a well-rounded background in written, visual, and digital communications along with team development. The position will work closely with the FP&M leadership team to amplify strategic priorities while creating the team’s functional expectations across the division. The ideal candidate will create marketing and communications materials to increase broad awareness, support relationship management efforts, and build a favorable brand reputation.
FP&M is made up of over 1,200 employees who maintain and operate the physical environment of the UW-Madison campus in support of the university’s research, education, and outreach mission. The division manages capital projects, sustainability efforts, transportation, health and safety, the overall campus landscape, and maintenance of historic buildings. Together, these areas contribute to building a campus resilient for today and well into the future.
