*The Chambers Group is seeking an Office Manager / Executive Assistant based in Vernon, BC. * The position reports to the General Manager and is a role which is responsible for helping ensure that the office runs efficiently supporting a range of operational, financial, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be a highly professional and self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who exhibits a high level of confidence, professionalism, integrity, and a great work ethic.

The Chambers Transportation Group is a Vernon, BC based company that operates a diverse fleet of trucks and specialized trailers throughout the Pacific Northwest. The Group of Companies operates in both the United States and Canada serving various sectors including the Pulp and Paper, Forest, Mining, and Oil and Gas industries.

*Main Duties*

*Office Manager Activities: *
* Maintaining digital files of fleet drivers
* Tracking training programs and coordinate training
* Ordering supplies for the office and other division locations
* Assist with the coordination of maintenance activities for the office
* Organize employee & contractor service awards
* Maintaining the company’s Certificate of Recognition (COR) Certification data
* Complete Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) applications including working with Immigration Lawyers to secure work permits and arrange for travel for Temporary Foreign Workers
* Maintain Social Media content
* Supervision of reception
* Monitor cross-border Drug Pool
* Perform other duties as assigned

*Executive Assistant Activities: *
* Schedule meetings and appointments for the executive team
* Responsible for arranging all travel arrangements for the executive team
* Organize company-wide, corporate, and internal meetings, parties and events
* Assistance with daily management of administrative functions relating to other departments including expense reconciliation, time and attendance tracking and vacation scheduling
* Compiling the company calendar and distribution company wide
* Perform other duties as assigned

*Qualifications & Experience: *
* Minimum of 3 years experience in Office setting with some supervisory roles
* Relevant post secondary education is considered an asset (such as Office Administration Certificate or equivalent education)
* Exceptional organization, communication and time management skills are essential
* Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
* Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), Google suite (Gmail, Calendar, Google Drive) and Adobe DC
* Experience planning and managing events and meetings and managing calendars is required
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to operate office business equipment
* Ability to interact well with a variety of personalities

*Preferred/Asset: *
* Knowledge of OH&S regulations
* Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) application experience

*Hours: *
* Hours of work Mon-Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break
