Zoom is looking for a Strategy & Planning Lead to work closely with our Head of Online and Online leadership team to effectively run the team’s business rhythm through strategy and best in class operations. The Online team is lazer focused on delivering a best-in-class ecosystem for our customers purchasing and self-serving online. This amazing global team of Zoomies thrives on building a best-in-class experience to engage customers, grow revenue and create long-term customer loyalty.


As the Strategy & Planning lead, you are a strategic thinker and operational doer. Critical to your success is the ability to flex across initiatives and build effective bridges/alignment through strong partnerships, decision-making, and communication. The role requires the ability to drive influence across a matrixed organization of go-to-market functions, such as e-commerce, pricing and retention, and product, engineering, and data teams. You will play a critical role in connecting the Online team to the broader organization and key stakeholders.


The best candidate for this role will be someone with a strong strategy and analytical background that can quickly add value to strategic initiatives, drive budget decisions, and prepare for exec level sessions such as QBR, annual planning and board meetings.


In lock-step with the team’s leader, own the team’s operation including:

  • Shaping / Driving strategic initiatives and complex cross-functional projects through thoughtful planning and stakeholder alignment
  • Prioritizing and orchestrating deliverables to meet short and long term strategic goals
  • Manage and solve escalations across the team
  • Measuring progress to our strategies via metrics in partnership with our finance & GTM teams
  • Review and advise on continuous improvement activities to ensure processes are optimized and aligned to achieve the best possible results.
  • Communicate and manage information flow to ensure the team is up to date on critical information
  • Support leader’s communications and internal/external facing presentations
  • Manage staff meetings including, but not limited to, setting the agenda, providing insights and analysis to inform strategic conversations, and tracking follow-through to increase accountability
  • Act as a trusted advisor and drive culture/employee engagement excellence within the team

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of consulting, strategy and/or program management experience or previous chief of staff roles
  • Experience in online monetization and growth, including e-commerce, third party advertisement and/or loyalty programs
  • Self-starter with a desire to work in hyper-growth ecosystems tackling change management and complex systems
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives and ability to simplify processes and systems
  • Excellent communication skills(both verbal and written) with strong reporting skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
  • Strong problem-solving skills (analytical, conceptual, quantitative)
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership through influence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with a heavy emphasis on teamwork.
  • A commitment to building inclusive teams and team culture.

Minimum


Colorado Salary Range or On Target Earnings:


$147,240.00 USD


Maximum


$257,670.00 USD


In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus and equity value. Information about Zoom’s benefits is here. Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
