GardaWorld is currently hiring a Mobile Operations Manager for our Security Services business line based out of our Vancouver Security Services Office in Burnaby, BC. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Mobile Operations Manager is responsible for effectively deploying necessary personnel, equipment, and processes to fulfill the service commitments to the customer. To accomplish this responsibility, the incumbent is expected to ensure Security Officers are adequately trained, appropriately assigned, fully equipped, given clear direction, and provided continuous and constant encouragement and support to ensure a quality service to the customer.

The incumbent is expected to demonstrate strong leadership qualities in the supervision of Security Officers under his/her direction, being a positive influence in ensuring post orders and established procedures are complied with and a role model in interactions with the customer and the public. The incumbent is expected to present a professional demeanor in both appearance and behavior in all interactions as a representative of GardaWorld.

What you will be doing:

Deliver Quality Service

Ensure the clients security requirements and standards are practiced and upheld, Security contract obligations and/or agreed upon service delivery commitments are met, our mobile division is equipped with supplies and equipment and covered with a competent Guard when required.

Manage Processes, Quality Control & Standards

Establish and maintain procedures needed to record all incidents and to distribute them in an expedient manner.
Ensure that reports and other documents with respect to work completed and/or service provided are delivered to the appropriate office to facilitate accurate and expeditious billing.
Ensure post orders are complete, current, clear, and available to the Security Officer for reference.
Maintain the most current record of Company policies, procedures and standards and make them readily available for reference.
Mobile Manager is responsible for meeting all performance milestones applicable to their position as outlined the Business Management System (BMS) in its most recent format as well as adhering to the essence of the corporate Quality Policy.

Demonstrate a Customer / Client Focus

Seek out client representatives at every reasonable opportunity to obtain feedback on the service provided
Solve any issues/problems that exist.
Observe interactions between the client s employees, contractors, and suppliers and the Security Officers to assess the quality of the relationship and the acceptance of the service and the controls being imposed.

Continuously seek and apply new ways to help optimize the mobile section, and reduce costs and/or increase revenues by anticipating future

Incorporate safety regulations and standards to ensure mobile staff work and/or function in a safe manner
Promote respect and openness towards others and demonstrate no tolerance towards harassment/intimidation of or by employees.
Be recognized by peers and staff as a role model and advocate of a safe work environment
Will be responsible for participating in training and awareness sessions as they relate to emergency preparedness at your work location.

Additional Duties:

Assistance with special projects and portfolios as required and requested by the Director of Operations.
Ensure that the Field Management and Mobile Supervisors are fully engaged in daily activities.
Ensure that the Mobile room is organized, clean and tidy. All documents, run sheet, daily reports, mobile report, incident reports, bag tags etc. are well stocked.
Complete and ensure payroll and billing accuracy.
Ensure key audits are completed as per company policy.
Reporting on KPI s and section requirements as required.
Work with fleet manager / operational support services manager, to ensure the mobile fleet is in good repair and all key issues are dealt with.
Liaise and work with Account Managers to assist with operational needs and requirements

Qualifications:

Two years managerial experience

Valid BC Security License

Experience within or supervising a mobile section is an asset

At least five years of security experience or experience within a related field

Knowledge of TrackTik is an asset

Post secondary education in a Security related field is an asset

Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or other relevant designations are a definite asset

Excellent communication skills written and verbal

Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours to meet business demands

Be eligible to work in Canada

Have a clear criminal background
