This individual will be responsible for the design and development of Delta’s social wellbeing programs and for bringing the full suite of Delta’s wellbeing initiatives to life through creative, effective and engaging activation strategies. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong leadership skills, experience driving effective change management, a passion for connecting and enhancing employee experience and an ability to partner cross-divisionally to prioritize the wellbeing tools, programs and experiences that will have the most impact on Delta employees. This individual will have a high level of accountability and must be someone who can lead, encourage and motivate a team responsible for bringing our culture to life through our wellbeing programs. The role will report to the Director of Global Wellbeing.

  • Develop and scale creative and best in class social wellbeing programs that amplify Delta’s culture and enhance the employee experience for all Delta employees.
  • Develop strategies to maximize employee engagement with wellbeing programs and drive positive health and wellbeing outcomes for each of our pillars.
  • Oversee and activate our cross-divisional Wellbeing network, including our Executive Wellbeing Council, divisional wellbeing managers, and extensive Wellbeing Champion network. Develop strategies to ensure that programs are prioritized for each division based on employee needs and refined based on effective and consistent feedback channels.
  • Collaborate with Communications and Marketing teams to create and disseminate high impact communications and educational content aligned to health & wellbeing priorities.
  • Partner with external benefits and wellbeing organizations and other networking groups to understand industry trends and best practices..
  • Monitors and improves effectiveness of existing and new programs, Maintain key statistical engagement data for programs and wellbeing vendors.
  • Develop and execute on community engagement efforts that align to Global Health & Wellbeing’s strategic focus areas.
  • In alignment with Delta’s mission and business strategy, support the development and evolution of an innovative Global Health & Wellbeing strategy
  • Manage design and implementation of special initiatives across the Health & Wellbeing portfolio
  • Lead a team with focus across Delta’s operating divisions
  • Facilitate open communication across divisions and within unit
  • Knowledgeable in Wellbeing and Employee Engagement/Experience programs and effective change management
  • Demonstrated record of: strong leadership skills; ability to lead, encourage, and motivate a team, high level of accountability and ownership
  • Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
  • If internal, must be performing satisfactorily in current position
