*RESPONSIBILITIES: *

· Prepare financial statements on a GAAP basis; ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.

· Oversee daily treasury activities and prepare monthly cashflow forecasts.

· Obtain and maintain thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure.

· Co-manages the administration of the ERP system, including implementations, customizations and enhancements required by the initiatives of the company and its Board of Directors.

· Prepare adhoc financial information and analyses as requested by senior management and the Board of Directors.

· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements relating to all benefit plans, payroll policies, and sales and income taxes by working with appropriate third-party administrators; ensures timely filing of all information and tax returns; advises management on needed actions.

· Manages corporate credit card and commissions processes.

· Creates effective relationships with external banking, financing and other business partners.

· Manage quarterly and annual budgeting and re-forecasting processes, including interfacing with all areas of company management; establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.

* Preparation of budget presentations for senior level management and the Board of Directors.

· Achieves budget objectives by monitoring expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

· Establishes pricing structure for new product and product lines.

· Maintains financial controls over inventory management, ensuring proper costing under current inventory valuation methodology; maintain payment schedules for all third-party manufacturers.

· Completes operational requirements by performing assignments and managing employee(s); maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

· Maintains the administration of all contract documentation and related reporting.

· Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; interfacing and providing information to external auditors when necessary.

· Coordinate preparation of deliverables for annual independent audit; document company accounting positions and resolve issues with auditors as necessary.

· Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.

· Maintain and build upon comprehensive set of Policies & Procedures to manage departmental operations and satisfy internal and external parties as it relates to adequate documentation of tasks and controls for each material function.

· Participates in cross-functional training of staff in other departments, including but not limited to Operations, Sales, Brand/Design, and Product Development.

· Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy; work with staff to establish goals and objectives for each year; monitor and advise on progress to enhance the professional development of staff.

· Assists with Human Resource functions as needed.

· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

*QUALIFICATIONS: *

* Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
* 10+ years of accounting, financial, audit and/or reporting experience with increasing responsibilities
* Experience with Netsuite accounting system a plus
* Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel
* Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required
* Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Excellent analytical and organizational skills
* Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
* Good judgment and understanding of accounting, and maintain GAAP compliance
* Solid analytical skills when reviewing financials and self-confidence to pursue responses from operations management
* CPA preferred
